1. Overview
BKAN provides digital training courses designed for laboratories, ISO/IEC 17025 professionals, and technical staff. Because our courses are delivered online and grant immediate access to downloadable and viewable content, our refund and cancellation terms follow international digital-goods standards requirements.
This policy applies to all purchases made through the BKAN website checkout system.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:
Duplicate Purchase — If you accidentally purchase the same course more than once, we will refund the duplicate transaction.
Technical Access Issues — If you are unable to access the course due to a verified technical issue on our side (e.g., broken links, inaccessible modules), and our support team cannot resolve the issue within 3 business days, you may request a refund.
Incorrect Course Purchase — If you purchased the wrong course and have not accessed or downloaded any course materials, you may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase.
2.2 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- You have already accessed, viewed, or downloaded course materials.
- You completed or partially completed the course.
- You changed your mind after gaining access to the content.
- You expected features or outcomes not described in the course outline.
- You purchased a course during a promotional discount period and want to cancel after accessing the content.
2.3 Refund Request Process
To request a refund:
- Email: bkansupport@bkan.co.za with your order number, full name, and reason for the request.
- Our team will review your request within 3–5 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and may take 5–10 business days to reflect, depending on your payment provider.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Cancelling a Purchase Before Access
If you have not yet accessed the course, you may cancel your purchase within 48 hours. A full refund will be issued.
3.2 Cancelling After Access
Once course access has been granted, cancellation is no longer possible due to the nature of digital content delivery.
4. Subscription-Based Products (If Applicable)
If BKAN introduces subscription-based learning modules:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time.
- Cancellation prevents future billing but does not refund previous charges.
- Access remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
5. Course Updates & Lifetime Access
Updates to course content do not affect refund eligibility and do not constitute grounds for cancellation.
